Dear Alumnus
Greetings.
When Microsoft introduced the Office 365 email service in 2009, NYP students who graduated from 2009 onwards were able to retain their student email addresses with @mymail.nyp.edu.sg domain name after graduation. Due to the recent change of terms of use by Microsoft, students who have graduated are no longer eligible for the Qualified Educational Users Program.
Our records show that only a small number of graduates continued to use their NYP email accounts six months after graduation. The low usage and the large number of dormant accounts present potential security risks and operation overheads.
For these reasons, NYP will be discontinuing the provision of the @mymail.nyp.edu.sg email account service with effect from 1 October 2018. Please save any data you have in your @mymail.nyp.edu.sg email account (login here) that you may like to retain as all data will be permanently purged and non-recoverable from 1 October 2018 onwards. If you have forgotten your password, please call i@Central at 6451-5115 during office hours.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your kind understanding. With the discontinuation of the Office 365 mymail email accounts from 1 October 2018, we encourage you to update your personal email address in our database to stay connected with us. You may login* to the alumni web portal or email us at NYP_Alumni@nyp.edu.sg to let us know of any change to your personal particulars.
Do stay connected with us through alumni events. We look forward to your continued support of NYP.
